Shinkansen to Go Overseas

The Shinkansen, or the Bullet Train, is expanding its network around Japan. Also, as the United States and Asian countries plan to develop high-speed railway networks, Japan is trying to sell the Shinkansen to those countries. In order to succeed in selling the Shinkansen, however, Japan has to beat the competing countries. Japan is advertising its high technology to beat the competition.


Your story should begin with this sentence: One day, Kenji and his father were talking about a new Shinkansen train.
